Large-scale Moscow's Assaults Eliminate Electricity Across Ukraine's Capital

Energy infrastructure under attack in the region
The country's energy systems have faced increased strikes in the past few days

During the night, Russian aerial assaults have resulted in power cuts in extensive areas of the capital city, Kyiv.

A number of civilians were hurt while local people in the city's east were plunged into darkness and encountered disruption to water supplies, according to municipal leaders.

At the same time, a minor was killed in a separate Russian drone strike in the southeastern region in the southeastern part, as reported by area administrators.

Moscow has escalated attacks on energy facilities over recent weeks, while the country's government has demanded "concrete actions" from allies to apply pressure on Russia.

"What's needed is not symbolic gestures but decisive action - from the US, the EU and the major economies - in supplying air defence systems and enforcing sanctions," was stated in a social media post.

Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and more than 30 missiles targeted Ukraine's energy infrastructure, labeling such strikes as "strategic and deliberate" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as winter approaches.

Energy officials said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and repair crews were striving to fix the damage.

A series of attacks hit electrical systems and residential structures in Kyiv.

Multiple people hurt in the attacks on the city have been taken to hospital, as confirmed by city authorities.

Local officials said the city endured heavy assaults throughout the evening. A minor died and several individuals were injured.

The attacks succeed nights of bombing campaigns in the area, parts of which are occupied by invading troops.

All of Ukraine is under warning for advanced weapon attacks, which are more difficult to detect.

Government officials told the media that Russia was deliberately attempting to damage the national power system, with assaults already disrupting fuel infrastructure.

Authorities confirmed utility staff and officials were preparing for more assaults.
